Who pays Nichefit, and who doesn't
Some links on this site can earn a commission. Rather more of the things recommended here cannot, and several of them are the honest first answer. Both lists are below, by name.
The short version
Eleven vendors on this site have a publisher programme that Nichefit can apply to, and a link to one of them is marked in the page's own HTML as rel="sponsored nofollow" and routed through an address beginning /go/. Everything else on this site is a plain link that earns nothing.
No page here was written because of that list, and the ordering on the ranking page is by the cheapest seat a team can hold — a figure taken from each vendor's own price card, which no arrangement can move.
Links that can pay us
These eleven are the keys that exist on this site. Each one currently points at the vendor's own home page: no tracking tag has been issued to this domain yet, so as things stand today every one of these links earns exactly nothing.
- HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM and Bigin by Zoho
- Close, Copper, Salesflare and Nutshell
- Method, Apollo and Keap
Where a programme has conditions that affect readers, the page that names the vendor says so. Two are worth repeating here: HubSpot's programme pays on paid plans only, so recommending its free tier — which this site does, often — earns nothing at all; and Zoho's programme pays only when the referral signs up in the same region as the publisher, which is a condition neither this site nor a reader can see from the outside.
No commission rate appears anywhere on Nichefit. A rate printed beside a review is an incentive on display, and it belongs in our records rather than on a page you are reading to make a decision.
Things recommended here that pay us nothing
This list is longer than the one above, and it is the more important of the two. Every name here is recommended somewhere on this site on the merits, and none of them can earn Nichefit a penny.
- HubSpot's free tools and Zoho CRM's free edition. Both are genuinely free — for two users and three users respectively — and both pay on paid plans only, so a free signup is worth nothing to us.
- Salesforce. It runs no publisher programme of any kind, so it is named here as the reference point everyone knows and linked nowhere.
- Little Green Light and Bloomerang, the two nonprofit systems quoted on this site, and Jobber for field work, Manatal and Recruit CRM for recruiting, and AgencyBloc for insurance agencies. No programme was researched for any of them, so under this site's rule none may be keyed.
- A spreadsheet. For a business with one pipeline and thirty contacts it is frequently the correct answer, and it is free.
Three vendors deliberately left out
Nimble has a programme this site could have used. Its pricing page answered this machine with an HTTP 403 error on two attempts, and a CRM whose price cannot be read at source does not get ranked or linked here — so it appears nowhere, commission or not.
monday CRM and Freshsales were both read successfully and are also absent. Adding a shallow account of them here would earn a click without teaching anybody anything.
What a partnership cannot buy
It cannot buy a position on the ranking page, which is ordered by published price. It cannot buy the removal of a criticism, an unpublished renewal rate, a seat floor or a contact ceiling. It cannot buy a page, a mention, or a softened sentence, and no vendor sees a page before it goes up.
If any of that ever changes, this page changes first and says what changed. A list published here is a commitment, not a snapshot — which is why the refusals above are set out by name rather than summarised.
Nichefit is not a reseller, an implementation partner or a certified consultant for anyone. The reasoning behind every recommendation is on the page that makes it, starting with the sales CRMs ranked by the team they fit.
